A little of this, a little of that...

 I bought these trim rings this morning...likely not original due to the air valve holes being much larger than stock but they appear to be super nice and I can take them off of my list of 'search items'.

Got an email from eBay to tell me that I didn't win the early Type 3 hubcaps I was watching.  I'd bid early on in the listing but quickly realized that someone with a lot more money was going to wind up with them.  I put in one bid of 100€, which was too high already, IMO.  So naturally, I gave a hearty guffaw when I received the email and learned that someone had bid 254€ for them-nearly $100 USD each after shipping.  That's NOS pricing, not 'good used' pricing, to me.
