"The safest road to hell is the gradual one - the gentle slope, soft underfoot, without sudden turnings, without milestones, without signposts."

I don't know why but this specific part is one that's bothered me for a while.  They're stamped together and when the paint flakes, it cannot be easily taken apart and painted.  It cannot be powder coated because of plastic connectors.  I have probably six of these in the garage-all in various states and conditions.

I bought this today with the goal of selling off the others stashed in the garage.  I also bought the backing pieces to the bumper guards (they're at the top right in the photo) and now have enough for two complete cars.  Spares that I'll likely never need and will eventually sell...probably.

The weather has been brutal the last couple of days so it likely goes without saying that I've not been in the garage working on the car.  I've been in the house, buying parts...and selling a few things here and there.  I sold an extra high beam rebuild kit for the SWF signal arm, points to the ZV/JCU4R3 distributor, a couple more caps for the same distributor, my repop tachometer that was never installed (I never thought I'd sell this but it was time for it to move to a new home), and a few other miscellaneous parts.

I started listing parts on eBay but started with the least likely to sell first.  There will be more to come on eBay in the coming days as I have time to list them.  Work is going to be nuts for the next few months and I'm anticipating that I won't have much time for eBay but I'll do what I can to get more parts listed.

There's been a lot more activity than I expected so far this year....it's only the 6th day of the year and it's looking busy.  I'm hoping to pare down quite a bit of my parts stash this Spring-move along the things that I won't likely use/need but hang on to the rare-ish stuff.

Winter has barely begun and I've already got a nasty case of cabin fever...
