Out of curiosity, I dug out a pair of drum spindles and put the bracket on them. Three corners match while one is oddly cut short. Not sure why they'd be machined like this...it's maybe 3mm of material to do it right and it would keep one corner from being super close to the edge of the bracket.
I'm also curious about how the two existing bolts are replaced by Airkewld hardware - based on the way the piece is machined. I'll admit: I haven't downloaded the instructions yet because I was planning to wait until the spindles came back from being refinished.
