Looks like 2013 is going to end with some progress on the car...I ordered the front brakes and the pan is nearing completion. Steve is making progress now that things are 'back to normal'. The pan is going to be media blasted, epoxy primed and painted satin black. I should have it back within two months-most of that time is me trying to figure out when I can get out to Steve's place to pick it up. Steve got the job of cleaning up and correcting the job of the original shop that installed the pans-they skipped a few steps and wound up costing themselves the rest of the work. I'd rather spend the time and money to do it right vs. doing it cheap and fast. Sometimes I have to remind myself of this virtue when I get impatient that things are not progressing as fast as I'd like...
Powder coating is my next trip...then the chrome shop. I feel some momentum picking up and that's a good thing - I've felt stalled for far too long.
