I sent off various pieces of several pedal assemblies to Scott Stuart at PedalWerks about a month ago. I received a box today with the finished product-my restored pedals. I added the heim link clutch pedal because I don't ever want to have to change it or screw around with it once it's installed.
I'm pretty happy with the end result and the turn around was much faster than he originally quoted.
I stumbled upon some NOS pinwheel brake drums from one of my contacts in Germany and I jumped on them-knowing that someone would be interested in them. They weren't cheap but they're already spoken for - parts found for Ferris in trade.
I think there's only one more wayward box making its way to the house before the purchases past come to a halt.
I managed to get an hour or so in tonight-carefully dismantling the driver's side door from the red car - it's stripped to a bare shell-bags of parts marked and waiting for clean up. I'm hoping to have the passenger's side door stripped on Wednesday so that everything is ready to go out West to meet up with the white car.
Someday, this will all come back together and I'll be driving the car but right now it just seems so far away.
