I need a more explicit theory to make my good intentions a reality

The ball is rolling, so to speak, and the parts will slowly flow in over the next few weeks.  There are some exciting things in transit.

I had a small panic attack yesterday when I couldn't find some parts that I bought a few months ago.  Weird-considering how much time I spent organizing them-but I found them after some digging around in the garage and have since moved them to their proper location.  I wonder if this neurosis wears off once the car starts to go back together...I don't remember this the last time I put a car together-but that was a good 20 years ago and it wasn't anywhere near this thorough (and I had several local sources).

The big push to get the body and the pan to the body shop for some fabrication and panel fixes is on-I've asked for favors from a few friends-and the schedule is being worked out.  I worked out the dimensions of my car/stand and the available UHaul trucks for rent.
I will have to make a dry run to the local UHaul place to measure the space between the wheel wells so that I can modify the stand to fit the interior of the truck before I get the truck home.  The stand will be 6' wide and the car is 13' long.  I'll make some blocks/feet to put the stand on so it doesn't roll around and I'll lag bolt the body to the stand at the frame mount points (where it's sitting on the stand now).  Strap it down and it'll be good to go.

I should be able to work out the schedule in the next few days...the parts in transit will hopefully show up before all of the other work is completed.  Then the car goes off for media blasting, then paint.  I'm 95% sure  I'm going to paint the car Cobalt Blue...I can also get the wheels cleaned and painted as well, then buy/install tires.  I'm going to go two tone since I won't be using the beauty rings (I don't like them).

While the car is gone, I'll be able to finish up stuff around the house, rebuild three ignition columns, and fine tune my super anal organization system.  Hell, I might even park my Speed3 in the garage...
