“It's a bizarre but wonderful feeling, to arrive dead center of a target you didn't even know you were aiming for.”

I've been contemplating about the N model restoration idea for a short time now.  There are a few reasons to not do the restoration as an N model.  The biggest being that I don't have front fenders.  Shipping large/bulky items to the middle of the country isn't cheap.  But it can be done.

So I then moved to my latest attempt to 'talk myself out of it', which is that the N model has some rather rare parts-some of which are almost never seen unless someone else pulls an N model car apart and sells the entrails to another buyer.

Today, however, I believe I was given a 'sign' that the N model restoration might be a good idea:  I found NOS N model sill plates.  If door panels or fenders pop up in the next couple of months then the fate of the restoration will be sealed as an N model.  I'm keeping my eyes peeled in the event it happens.

There's an early right side front fender in the classifieds but no left side (which should technically be easier to find).  The price is high so I've not expressed interest in it.
