Seems like there are parts coming out of the woodwork lately...mostly stuff I don't need or want but it's nice to see that things are 'happening' again.

I've had lengthy discussion with the newly found transmission shop-sent over pictures and discussed work.  I'm going to send both transmissions next week (assuming I can get the other one out of the cradle by then) and have the original transmission rebuilt.

I reached out to the generator rebuilder to get that process started.  Once this piece is in place, the top end is finished.

Found a little confidence that the missing left side heater box might have been found-I'm waiting on a contact to confirm they have the correct part.  Maybe a few additional pieces will come out of the deal if things go correctly.

Still no news out of Germany regarding the lower door panel material.  I bought a set of used panels on TheSamba and received the box a couple of days ago.  The lower pieces are damaged-the tops are in decent shape but very dirty.  I haven't had time to clean them up yet because the house is taking most of my time.  I may have found another set in Germany (used) and may take a chance on the lowers again before I just let it go for a while.  I'm pretty far from needing interior pieces but I would like to get them 'nailed down' before too much time gets away from me.
