There have been a lot of weird things going on the last few days...lots of rare parts popping up in the classifieds. I caught one today-hopefully it's the right part-a NOS wiring harness for my car. I've been in the habit of continuously watching the classifieds over the last several months but I've strayed from that in recent weeks. I'm finding a lot of parts in Germany and my list of 'needs' is slowly shrinking as each one is found.
I'm taking a CSCP course and the work load of the course has caught me a little unprepared. I've shifted my focus to the course from the car. But I still check the classifieds at certain times of day-times that I know things typically get posted. Times that most people are at work or en route to their home in various time zones.
This is most of the wiring for my car (but not all of it). I will still get the repop-just to make sure I have all of the wires. I'm happy with this find.
Patience is everything. It's hard to believe when you're 14 but it proves itself over and over again when you're 40. Funny how that works.
I received a text from Tom-he says that the pan will be ready for pick up in the next week. I'm probably going to go over on Saturday and check it out. He says they may start working on the rockers/heater channels on the body very soon (that's a full three months early). Maybe he was motivated by the fact that the car won't come back after it's painted.
This is happening.
