I remember thinking that finding the fenders was going to be the catalyst to getting this project going-but then something came up and I lost interest in REALLY getting it done. I procrastinate for reasons that likely make sense only to me. There have been a few people in the forums who've gotten really close to finishing their project cars, only to wind up posting them for sale because of a 'life event' that's more or less forced the sale. It is just a car, when perspective is intact, and there are a lot of other things that are far more important. I'm really close to getting a whole lot done in a short amount of time. I just have to get comfortable with the idea of spending the money to get it done...just long enough to get it going. So that's what I did.
I sent off an email to the body shop to find out when they're open after Christmas. I have the week off of work so I figured I should make use of the time and get the project the little kick in the ass that it needs.

I'm excited to see you getting the ball rolling. Do you think you'll have it done in time for spring/early summer?

My goal is to have it ready for the 2014 T3 Invasion in New York. 2013 is a bit ambitious given the amount of work that will go into putting the car back together.
