Mistakes are the portals of discovery

I haven't made as much progress on finishing up garage revision #4 due to a few situations outside of my control...my wife fractured her big toe yesterday so we spent most of the night in the urgent care waiting for a doctor, an x-ray, an explanation of what happened or what to do next.  Fortunately, it should heal just fine.  The rest of the reason (80%) is that I just haven't felt like being in the garage anymore.  Too many things going on at one time.  Self inflicted disorganization, really.  Or job security.  I'm not sure which one at this point.

My Mazdaspeed3 is loaded up with four transmissions, random transmission parts-new and old-and a short block.  I'm leaving early tomorrow morning to head North to drop them off.  I took the rear parcel tray cover out and the back is open (the rear seats are down) and the entire back of my car is full of black trash bags filled with what looks like a body (they're transmissions and a short block).  If I don't get pulled over by the police, I should make it in 2 hours.

I'm planning a stop at the fabricator's place on the way home-just to check in and see where he is, schedule-wise, so I can know when to prepare the car for a trip.  Maybe I should just do it this weekend and be ready for whatever.  I'm also planning to finish the garage project as well as hang the last two doors in our house remodel project that came to a screeching halt with yesterday's turn of events.

I received quite a few parts over the last few days-the small fan shroud and the front tin arrived, the cylinder tin tops arrived and some NOS parts arrived as well.  The bigger shipment arrives in two weeks-that's the one I'm really looking forward to because it'll be one of the last until the pan is finished and the body work is underway.  That is, of course, assuming that nothing crucial pops up...then all bets are off.
