I'm not much of a T2 guy but this is one that I would love to have...you know, if I won the lottery. This bus was on eBay a week ago in the UK for 45,000 GBP...I'm not sure what it sold for but I'm sure the new owner is a happy guy-if it sold.
It's a 1966 21 window with the rare sliding door option. The only other one I've seen was a rust bucket...
I'm with you on that, I'm not typically a type 2 guy but drool, drool... That is a nice bus. I didn't know there was an option for a sliding door, it must be pretty rare. Was it a factory option or custom?

It's a factory option although I can't remember the option number...I found more photos and a link. I'm not sure if it sold as it's listed at 48,000 GBP. I had a few things wrong in my original post so I edited them to be correct.
