When times are tough, vision is the first casualty

While the renovations continue in the house, I have sold a few parts and bought some others to replace them.

Rebuilt carburetors from Bert3 should be getting packed up and shipped to me in the coming days.  I sold off the carbs that I bought a couple of months ago.  I'm simply not going to get around to doing anything with them in the short term and there's no sense in having them to just sit around, so they're going to a new home.

I bought a few pieces from Antonio-the elusive bolt for the oil pressure block (I have a NOS block), a hinge seal for the front door (I almost have two complete sets now after selling off three complete sets) and a fuel cut off valve for a fellow T3 guy who recently suffered an engine fire.  I'm not making any money on the purchase and re-sale of the part-just helping out a guy who needs it.

Some parts I bought from Susanne in Germany came on Monday:

I also sourced outer rocker sills-complete from front to rear, NOS condition.  They should be shipping in a week or so.  I'm down to interior heater channels for the body before it can go in the shop-the rest of it is good to go.  The pans haven't moved-partially because the funds are tied up in the current house project and partially because I can't really get to them right now because they're behind a pile of wood that came out of the room that's being remodeled.  It's nearly complete-then I can get back on task of getting the pans completed with a goal of getting it back up on tires.

It's just a matter of time.
