This is the second set I've stumbled upon in the last two weeks. Of course, I couldn't resist so I bought a set. When you're restoring a 45+ year old car, you always need 'spares', right?
NOS just makes it better.
2013 has turned out to be a good year for finding parts.
I finally found a bell housing for the engine stand and then I went and bought one of these for the engine stand to simplify its use. I won't likely use the engine stand for anything else so I thought this was a worthwhile investment. It is likely that I'll build a second motor in the future and this stand will come in handy.
I found two left side heat exchangers and they're in decent shape so I think I'm ready to get everything ceramic coated so that I can put the exhaust on the motor (finally) and fire it up. The starter arrived last week. Nothing yet on the generator but I have a regular 12v generator in the event I want to run the motor before the uprated generator is completed.
It's not much progress but at this stage of the game I'll take what I can get.
