I received a rebuilt Bosch 12v generator and solid state voltage regulator purchased from RockAuto.com since it was cheaper than buying a used one out of the Samba Classifieds.

Torqued the crank bolt, mounted the engine on the rolling stand. Next up: I will install the second fan shroud, belt, generator and then work on the exhaust pieces.
