I hadn't realized how many arcane pursuits there were out in the suburbs.

Received my last order from Germany a couple of days ago...found a few nice pieces to add to the a puzzle that seems to expand faster than I can plan to assemble it.  I have a few other parts 'on hold' but they will likely arrive in March.
I bought more than a few sets of these.  I'm going to hoard some and sell some.  But mostly hoard them.  I can't tell if that's some off shoot of being the offspring of a woman who keeps everything until it's worth nothing or a little bit of 'old age' creeping in-getting a head start on that old wood pile that every Baby Boomer I know seems to have.  Some are piles of magazines, old cars, books, random electronics.  Some day, my kids will go through my stuff and wonder why I bought so many parts for one car.
I've actually never seen these in NOS condition and that was part of the push that got me to buy a couple of sets.  They weren't cheap for what they are but they are very nice and complete.

No news about the kick panel or heater channel vents that are missing.  I took both ads down in an aid to get me to just have both the heater channel vents and the rear seat kick panel fabricated.  I was hoping to make this car the 100 point restoration I've always wanted but never had the patience to complete.  I'm fighting the desire to keep things moving vs. having an accurate restoration.  In a few short weeks, I'll have to go pick up the car if I can't find the pieces to keep things moving.  I could have had the front beam completed and the pan finished if I'd just pressed on but that still just doesn't 'feel right'.

I also found another pop out hinge...
