"Why is a raven like a writing desk?"

I completely forgot that I also bought rear bumper brackets from the same seller (before I'd received the box of panels)...they arrived last night.  Same as before-I'd asked if they would clean up and paint okay (not super rusty or damaged)...3 of the 4 brackets are bent.  A lot.

I received the first of the orders from Germany-sorted the parts-and put only a few up for sale.  Some of the other parts were sold and some were for Ferris.  I still have more parts to put up for sale but I haven't had the motivation to go out into the 20°F garage and dig around for parts.  It's going to be super warm for this time of year late in the week (50°F Sat/Sun) and rainy, so I should be able to get quite a bit done-both on the house and the parts organization.

The second (and slightly more exciting) shipment should arrive this week-just in time to get some parts sold over the weekend.  I'm getting progressively more picky about what I'm buying-I think I've been handed a couple of expensive lessons recently and I believe I have sufficiently learned what I needed.

The trip to California in June is highly anticipated at this point.

...and the answer: "Because it can produce a few notes, tho they are very flat; and it is nevar put with the wrong end in front!"  ('nevar' is raven backward and was Lewis Carroll's pun)
