Arrange whatever pieces come your way

Bought a rubber mat for the cargo area of a car that's in a thousand pieces.  As a logical person, I'm having trouble justifying that decision.  It's one less part to buy and it was a pretty decent deal...so I have that going for me.

I've been thinking about that red 65 in New York the last few days.  It's probably a good thing I won't have the coin to buy it before it's gone.  Otherwise, I might.  Ferris is trying my patience in ways I never thought possible.  It's amazing how difficult it is to find what I consider to be simple parts for this car.  The red 65 would solve 90% of that issue since it's nearly a complete car.

I'm having a hard time hanging on to the concept of this car being finished with all of the challenges I'm experiencing.  The pan can't be finished without a kick panel and I can't find one that's not roached.  The body work can't be finished until I find heater channel vents.  So the body shop is merely storing my car until I figure this out.  Bummer.

Do I cut and run or stay the course?

That answer depends on the day I've had...I wonder if that's normal.
