sometimes, it just doesn't work out

The FunFest show was a bust for Type 3 parts.  Two years ago, I got there early and apparently left before the 'good stuff'' arrived.  Last year, I got there too late and the Type 3 parts were all sold.  This year, I got there early and there wasn't anything to look at...and I hung around...watching...waiting...but nothing happened.  A couple of guys I know commented on how sparse the crowd and swap space was this year.  Only three Type 3 cars and one T34 were at the show.  No early T3s to speak of...

Speedometer guy is shipping the part I ordered shortly...I'm excited to see what I receive.

The steering column is on its way back here after being sent back to Italy because FedEx screwed up.

I'm waiting on an answer from a new contact about parts I seek.  They're apparently in no big rush to sell the parts...

I received some parts today and they are not quite in the condition I wanted for my restoration.  I realize that I got lucky last time and quietly hoped that it'd happen again.  I wound up putting the entire lot up for sale the same day I received them.  Bummer.
