Containing ambition...

One of the concerns with the early cars is that the door bolts rust and have to be drilled out to remove the doors.    I got lucky with this car-I oiled the bolts several months ago and let it sit.  A couple of weeks ago, I pulled out the 6mm hex bolt socket and they came right out.

I hit the interior side of the front of the foot well with a wire wheel to see how thorough the rust is in the rockers and front pan area.  I'm trying to wrap my head around how much work lay ahead in the body work...so far, so good.

I have a four phase plan but I can't seem to stick to it.  I'm all over the place.  Ambition takes over...

I also sold some parts...so I bought some parts...NOS door striker plates, a NOS horn bracket/seal.

I'm about a month away from jumping head first into the complete tear down and rebuild of the front beam assembly.  While I'm at it, I'm also going to tear apart the rear suspension assembly and clean it up and paint it.  Then the pan will get some attention...
